In 2008, at the launch of Vision 2015 and the Building Fund, we raised $3M through the faithful giving of attendees of the Church towards a total of $6.2M. The remainder $3.2M cost was funded through an interest-bearing loan. The funding was derived entirely from committed attendees of Clayton Church through God’s enablement. No government grants or public organisation sources were sought.

As of July 2019, we have paid off our interest-bearing loan.

We thank God for the generosity of all who have given, particularly those who gave in the final fortnight of the 2018-2019 taxation year; this giving was particularly instrumental in enabling the complete repayment – a total unexpected blessing!

The remaining financial obligation is to repay our members their interest-free loans.

There are two ways you can currently contribute to the Building Fund. Please prayerfully consider what God would have you give above your tithe by giving:

• SacrificiallyAsk the Lord in prayer to point out to you specific savings you can make, the ‘wants’ and luxuries you might forego, and/or a lifestyle change which you can delay or alter in order to free up finance. These are sacrifices of personal gains made for a greater purpose; the purposes of God for the church.

• By FaithThis is an exciting avenue of God’s provision. Believe that God will use you to provide financially through ‘unexpected’ sources. Pray for God to reveal a sum to you (and your family). Act in faith by placing that amount as a pledge to the project, and then wait in trusting anticipation.
